COVID-19 and Education

The health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented education emergency.

COVID-19 has disrupted the education of over 90% of the world’s children and youth. It has exacerbated existing inequalities and the digital divide, magnifying the global learning crisis. The impact of the pandemic on the world’s economy has also created a crisis like no other.

As the world rebuilds from COVID-19, IPNEd convened a series of briefings on COVID-19 and its implications on education for MPs, sharing the latest evidence and best practice, and providing MPs with a platform to share their experiences.
