Global Partnership for Education Replenishment 2021-2025
A shared commitment to ending the world’s learning crisis
The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is the world’s only education partnership and fund dedicated exclusively to quality education in lower-income countries.
At the Global Education Summit in July 2021, GPE asked world leaders to make pledges to help deliver quality education for all children including:
1. Protecting domestic finance for education to pre-COVID levels and increasing spending towards the 20% of total public expenditure global benchmark or beyond.
2. Securing at least US$5 billion in 5-year donor pledges to support GPE’s work to help transform education systems in up to 90 countries and territories, where 80% of the world’s out-of-school children live.
